Relationship with food can go from very simple to extremely complicated and even paradoxical “love and hate” type.
Food can be used as a natural source of energy and pleasure, but it can also serve as a tool to avoid uncomfortable feelings, boredom and anxiety OR as a shortcut to ecstatic state of temporary bliss.
Renata Duric, Integrative Body Psychotherapist with personal and professional experience in dealing with imbalanced eating habits and eating disorders will give a free public lecture on 8th May 2019 (Wednesday) from 6.30 pm to 8 pm in Bath Avenue Counselling Centre, First Floor, 13 Bath Avenue, Sandymount, Dublin 4 (right above the Credit Union).
During this interactive lecture you will be able to ask questions to understand your own relationship with food, emotions and body image. Renata will also share practical tips on how to transform and overcome the episodes of emotional and binge eating.
